Hi. I’m Tim Patterson, the proprietor of CulinarySavant.com. The site began after I made a homemade pizza in June of 2004 and decided to photograph the process so I could post it on my web site just for the hell of it. The original pizza recipe that started it is still up at http://tim.rocketry.org/cooking/bitchinpizza/.
In early 2005 I decided to expand it a bunch and started adding lots of new recipes for cool things I like to eat. I had noticed that any other recipe sites I went to seemed to only offer text recipes. I learn better with some photos or video, so I decided to post my recipes with photos of the entire process, and even the prices of the ingredients I was using.
Over the past 6+ years now I have received lots of cool email from folks who have come to the site and enjoyed it. So I decided to finally buy it its own domain name. So now I’ve set it up on a standard Wordpress blog so folks can leave comments and search to find what they want easier. I should have done this a long time ago, but I’m a procrastinator as those who follow the original site can attest to. 
Another benefit of the Wordpress platform here is that you can now subscribe to the site via an RRS feed. If you’re so inclined I would recommend Google Reader for following sites/blogs like this. You’ll receive all new postings (and there will be new ones soon, I promise!) as soon as they’re published.
